Obituary:

Robert B. Perry, 67, Ellenton, died September 29, 2009.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he moved to Ellenton in 1986 from Milton, Florida.

A Veteran of the U.S. Marines during peacetime, he was a Methodist, and a State Park Manager for 30 years, retiring from Gamble Mansion State Historic Site.

Survived by daughters, Tiffany (Danny) Smith of Parrish, FL, Michelle Perry of Ellenton, FL; sisters, Brenda Lindsey of Marietta, GA, Linda Barnes of Mableton, GA; two grandchildren, Cody Howard and Logan Alexandra Smith.
