An obituary of Billy Floyd III appeared in the Atlanta Journal Constitution November 24th or 25th. At the time I received it, I was only aware of one Billy Floyd, Brown 1957, however I soon found out that he was not the subject of the obituary.

He is alive and well and is currently pastor of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Kennesaw, GA

I was quickly informed that Billy F. Floyd III was president of the class of 1955 and he, sadly, was the subject of the notice.

Tom Sorrells sent the following information:

"Billy was very prominent at Brown High. As you noted he was president of his class. He was also a star on the football team. He and freddie Trainer were best friends. In recent years he has been at several get togethers some of us have had for lunch."
