Outlook Express Client Setup The following screens illustrate how to setup Outlook Express to access your JoeBrownHigh.org mailbox. If you use a client other than OE, then there should be sufficient information here to help you set it up. This is the top part of the opening screen for OE. To start the setup process, click on 'Tools'at the top and then on 'Accounts' when it appears. ![]() This screen shows the setup dialog. You should remove all of the existing accounts by clicking on the 'Remove' button at the right. Repeat for each item in the list. Next click on the 'Add' Button.Go to the next screen. ![]() Type in how you wish your name to be shown to email recipients when you send an email and click on the 'Next' button at the bottom. ![]() Enter the email address which has been assigned to you and click on the 'Next' button at the bottom. ![]() The entries on this screen should be typed exactly as they appear here,and click on the 'Next' button at the bottom. ![]() Enter the email address again which has been assigned to you, then enter your password which was requested by you, and click on the 'Next' button at the bottom. ![]() This shows the sucessful completion of the setup process. Click on the 'Finish' Button at the bottom. ![]() This screen shows the results of the setup. Click on the 'Properties' button at the right. ![]() Typing in your username here to replace the 'pop.fatcow.com entry. This will change it on the 'Results' Screen which is shown on the next page. The 'Your Username' under the 'Name' should be what you typed in at the 'Your Name' screen and shouldn't have to be changed again. ![]() As you can see the 'pop.fatcow.com' has been replaced by 'Your Username' Click on the 'Properties' button at the right to bring up the next screen ![]() The only thing that needs to be changed on this screen is to check 'Leave a copy of messages on Server' and then check the 'Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Items'. Please remember to clean out your 'Deleted Items' periodically. ![]() This screen shows the default screen for accessing your email. The next screen shows a variation which is chosen by checking the 'When Outlook Express starts, go directly to my inbox' ![]() This screen shows the screen which is chosen by checking the box mentioned in the screenabove for accessing your email.
